Me, Myself and I

Born and raised in Malinalco, a small and ancient town near Mexico City, Leonardo studied Graphic Design in the Istituto Europeo Di Design in Madrid, Spain. During his academic studies he created, with a group of artists, a multi-disciplinary design studio called MaliArts. This network of artists is specialized in illustration, print design, animation and photography.

Leonardo's work finds its inspiration in nature and the re-interpretation of everyday events. His work combines sustaintable design principles with his own aesthetic language adapted to each specific project. Also, an important part in his creative process is the experimentation with diverse mediums like painting, photography, video, etc.
